Warner Bros. has found its new CEO in Ann Sarnoff and she is set to make her rounds at the company to meet its key staff next week.
According to insiders, the incoming CEO of Warner Bros is set to meet with the various division heads of the company. While Ann Sarnoff will not take the leadership of Warner Bros until August, the meetings will allow for some face to face time with the division heads, allowing her the opportunity to get to know her new company. A larger companywide address is far more likely after she officially takes the position.
Ann Sarnoff was announced as the new CEO of Warner Bros last month. This followed a three month period where Warner Bros. had a temporary CEO after the resignation of Kevin Tsujihara. Tsujihara resigned as CEO and Chairman of Warner Bros. following an investigation into his past relationship with an actress who apparently sought his help getting acting roles during a sexual relationship the two shared. But it looks like Warner Bros. may be in good hands with Ann Sarnoff.
Ann Sarnoff has previously worked as an executive for BBC. Before then she worked in a variety of positions at the WNBA, Dow Jones and Viacom. Since Ann Sarnoff’s announcement as CEO, morale has reportedly improved at Warner Bros. with employees able to focus on there work as opposed to the fate of the company. Hopefully, this will lead to better days for Warner Bros.
