With the launch of Ghosts of Saltmarsh for Dungeons & Dragons, more DMs are creating games that have more elements taking place on the high seas. Well, if you need some help thinking up some ideas for encounters your players can have, you’ll want to check out Encounters on the Savage Seas III which is now free over on DMs Guild. Technically it is pay what you want, so you can pay some to support the creators, or you can download it for free. Content for this unofficial supplement is provided by Camerson Ackerson, Jay Anderson, Beatriz T. Dias, Bryan Holmes, Paige Leitman, Emily Smith, and Jeff C. Stevens. One of the best things is that there’s information for scaling some of the encounters based on your party’s level.
I don’t think I can recommend Encounters on the Savage Seas III enough. You can download it on DMs Guild for whatever price you wish, including free.
