David Harbour has opened up about his Black Widow experience so far and praised director Catt Shortland in a recent interview.
David Harbour is making his fourth attempt at superhero films after appearing in The Green Hornet, Suicide Squad, and Hellboy. While his role is unknown, David Harbour has now joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe and will star in the upcoming Black Widow prequel. Filming is currently underway for the film, but David Harbour is taking a break to promote Stranger Things 3. In a recent interview with ComicBook.com, David Harbour went on to praise Black Widow director Cate Shortland, who is the latest indie filmmaker to jump into the MCU:
“This woman, Cate Shortland, who is directing this movie is one of the best directors I’ve ever worked with. She’s so, so smart, and makes such beautiful indie movies. The fact that you’d put someone like that at the helm of one of these huge action movies — and she pays such attention to the story and such attention to character — speaks volumes.”
David Harbour shared his excitement and talked more about his Black Widow experience thus far:
“The fact that these guys are so good at what they do, and so passionate about what they do, it feels tremendous. I’m very, very happy with the situation, working on it now. It’s on a scale and on a passionate level unlike anything I’ve ever done.”

5 Things Marvel Studios Will Likely Bring To Hall H At Comic-Con 2019
Following this year’s Avengers: Endgame, the Marvel Cinematic Universe is going to be quite different moving forward and we’ve yet to really get any official details about what’s next. And you know what time of year it is? We’re quickly approaching the biggest geek event of the year, San Diego Comic-Con. And while it hasn’t been confirmed that Marvel Studios will have a presence there, it would be very surprising to see the studio not make their mark in Hall H this summer.
Seriously. It would be weird if Marvel Studios didn’t show up two years in a row. In the meantime though, while you wait to see if you’re going to be spending your night on the cold concrete waiting to get into that panel, we’ve got a few ideas about what Marvel Studios might bring along with them if they do return to Hall H. (Come on. They have to be, coming, right?)
