Spider-Man: Far From Home‘s official runtime might confirm a popular MCU fan theory that comes from a moment in Avengers: Endgame.
One of the most heartbreaking moments in Avengers: Endgame is Tony Stark’s line “I love you 3000.” Tony says this line to his daughter, Morgan, multiple times in the movie. It was later revealed that the line actually comes from something Robert Downey Jr. says in real life.
While it might just be a coincidence, there has been a really cool fan theory floating around that when you add up all the runtimes of the Infinity Saga films, it equals 3000 minutes. Spider-Man: Far From Home will end the Infinity Saga and today, the runtime was confirmed to be 129 minutes. As it turns out, the runtimes now actually add up to 3000 minutes. Marvel Studios has also used the line to help promote the upcoming re-release of Avengers: Endgame this weekend as a gesture to MCU fans.
