Here Are All The Confirmed Force Powers In Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order

A couple of months back, Electronic Arts finally showed off Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order to the world, after years of anticipation, hype, and plenty of rumors and speculation. Ever since the initial reveal at Star Wars Celebration, fans have been eagerly awaiting more concrete details, and earlier today, developer Respawn Entertainment debuted some gameplay, in a lengthy video which premiered at EA Play 2019, just ahead of next week’s E3 conference.

Of course, even though the aforementioned trailer hit the web just a few hours ago, internet sleuths have been meticulously dissecting every frame, all in an effort to gain a better understanding of what gamers can expect once Fallen Order hits store shelves later this year. Unsurprisingly, there was a lot to digest, but as GameRant reports, there are a handful of Force powers that players will be able to wield come launch day.

Padawan Cal Kestis (played by Cameron Monaghan, of Gotham and Shameless fame), will not only engage in some light platforming and lightsaber combat, but it sounds like the young grasshopper has nailed down a few Jedi moves of his own. Here’s a brief rundown of what you can expect:

• Force Pull – Cal can use the Force to move enemies and useful objects (vines to swing off of) towards him
• Force Push – Similarly, he can push troopers and other objects away
• Force Jump – Essentially, a glorified double jump
• Force Speed – It’s not entirely sure if Cal is using time dilation to move fast, or if he’s actually traveling at high speeds
• Force Stasis – Speaking of time, Cal is able to slow down a specific enemy or the area surrounding them, affecting things like blaster shots, for instance
• Lightsaber Deflection – By channeling the Force, Cal can use his heightened reflexes to deflect shots away using his lightsaber
• Force Sense – This one is tougher to categorize. Essentially, we saw Cal getting a glimpse into the final moments of a dead trooper. We imagine this will be used to investigate important “events” in order to advance the story or solve puzzles

Of course, this is far from a definitive list, and we’ll be sure to keep you updated on more information as it comes to light. Luckily, we shouldn’t have to wait long – Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is due out later this year on November 15th, on Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4.
