It looks like Arnold Schwarzenegger’s iconic “I’ll be back” line will never die as it has been featured in the latest TV spot for Terminator: Dark Fate but not in the way you might hope.
Arnold Schwarzenegger first spoke the line in the original Terminator film before his character went on a rampage throughout a police station. Since then, Arnold Schwarzenegger has used the line and variations on it in countless films, including all of his appearances in the Terminator films. But it seems that this time around the line is being spoken by someone else.
The first trailer for Terminator: Dark Fate surprisingly contained little footage of Arnold Schwarzenegger and mainly focused on Mackenzie Davis’ new character and the return of Linda Hamilton to the role of Sara Conner. This has continued in the latest TV spot for the upcoming film which contains mostly recycled footage from the trailer. However, there is one major addition. Sara Conner, after tossing a grenade over the side of a bridge, says to the other characters “I’ll be back.”
