Sylvester Stallone has been an action star for years. One of his first big action projects was 1982’s First Blood, which introduced Sylvester Stallone as John Rambo. First Blood led to Rambo becoming a cultural icon, and the film received many sequels. The first film has four sequels — Rambo: First Blood Part II, Rambo III, and Rambo. Now, Sylvester Stallone will return as John Rambo in 2019’s Rambo: Last Blood.

While not much in known about the film, many have been waiting for the return of the action hero for some time. Stallone recently teamed up with Black Panther star Michael B. Jordan for the Rocky spin-offs Creed and Creed II, so many fans are hoping the actor can bring back the character of John Rambo as well as he brought back Rocky Balboa.

Today, Lionsgate released the first official trailer for Sylvester Stallone’s Rambo: Last Blood. You can check it ou below.

The trailer features Sylvester Stallone in in all of his former action hero glory in what is shaping up to be the bloody hyper-violent action thriller Rambo fans have been waiting to see. Are you excited for Rambo: Last Blood? Let us know in the comments!

Here is the plot for Rambo: Last Blood:

The plot follows the titular character as he crosses the U.S.-Mexico border to find a kidnapped child who is the daughter of a close friend. This mission will find him going up against a cartel and their leader.

Directed by Adrian Grunberg from a script written by Matthew Cirulnick and Stallone, Rambo 5: Last Blood also stars Sergio Peris-Mencheta, Hugo Martinez, and Paz Vega. The film comes from Lionsgate, Millennium Films, and Campbell Grobman Films.

The Rambo franchise, which started in 1982, is based on the novel First Blood by David Morrell. Last Blood will be the franchise’s fifth installment and follows 2008’s Rambo, which was directed by Stallone.

Rambo: Last Blood opens in theaters on September 20, 2019.

IGN has revealed the first official photos from the highly-anticipated Terminator sequel from Deadpool director Tim Miller. The photos offer fans a first look at Arnold Schwarzenegger, Linda Hamilton, Mackenzie Davis, Natalia Reyes, Gabriel Luna and Diego Boneta.

Deadpool helmer Tim Miller is directing the film from a script written by Billy Ray, David S. Goyer, Justin Rhodes, Josh Friedman, and Charles H. Eglee. The script was developed in a writers room to stand on its own while simultaneously forming an overarching storyline for what is planned to be a new trilogy of movies.

Dark Fate will introduce newcomers Mackenzie Davis and Natalie Reyes, as well as Gabriel Luna (Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) who plays a brand new Terminator in the film. Plot details remain under wraps, but Miller's project is a direct sequel to Judgment Day, ignoring all the other films in the franchise.

The film stars Mackenzie Davis, Gabriel Luna, Natalia Reyes, Diego Boneta, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton, James Cameron returns to the franchise as a producer and conceived the story with Miller and Skydance's David Ellison. Here's the official synopsis:

Linda Hamilton (Sarah Connor) and Arnold Schwarzenegger (T-800) return in their iconic roles in Terminator: Dark Fate, directed by Tim Miller (Deadpool) and produced by visionary filmmaker James Cameron and David Ellison. Following the events of Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Terminator: Dark Fate also stars Mackenzie Davis, Natalia Reyes, Gabriel Luna, and Diego Boneta.
