‘Game of Thrones’ Fan Begs For Season 8 Rewrite With Epic Plane Banner

Game of thrones Emilia Clarke Daenerys targaryen (1)Game of Thrones season 8 continues to get immense backlash, with one fan mad enough to demand a rewrite via an airplane banner.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Game of Thrones “casual fan” Ryan Geddes created a GoFundMe account for the banner. Geddes raised nearly $700 for the banner, which reads “SOMEONE REWRITE GAME OF THRONES SEASON 8 PLZ.” The banner flew over Seattle’s downtown area on Wednesday for about 30 minutes before it was spread all over the web. Geddes told the trade:

I made this just to send to a couple friends as a joke, not really thinking it would go anywhere, and then we hit our limit [for funding],

Game of Thrones season 8 suffered the lowest rated episodes and overall season. Currently, the season itself is sitting at critic rating of 58%, far below the other seasons which are all above 90%. The penultimate and final episodes of Game of Thrones are also the lowest rated with both sitting at 48%.

‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 8 Episode 3 Images Tease The Epic Battle Of Winterfell

Game of ThronesHBO has released six new images from this week's new episode of Game of Thrones, teasing the epic Battle of Winterfell with the Army of the Dead.

Last week's episode ended with tension at an all-time high for the hit fantasy series as the White Walkers approached Winterfell, teasing the massive upcoming battle that took a total of 55-nights to shoot. Miguel Sapochnik, best known to Game of Thrones fans as the director behind the Battle of the Bastards episode, returned to helm the Battle of Winterfell. The images offer a new look at stars Kit Harington, Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams, Peter Dinklage, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, and Conleth Hill.
